S P E C I A L   G U E S T  W O R K S H O P S

At Lee Academy we are always having exciting & enthusiastic dance industry professionals come to visit & teach our students. We have extensive contacts with some of the most well-known & respected international & home-grown artists/teachers. We hold special workshops with Guest Teachers on a very regular basis, always planning the next exciting event & special guests! Some Dance Industry Professionals who have visited our school & taught our students include: Keith Hawley, Barry Youngblood, Eddie Garcia, Josh Horner, Tia Jordan, Hilda Easton & Queenie Van de Zandt to name just a few!
ALREADY in 2007, Lee Academy students have benefited from these special people coming to our studio:
Mrs Easton : President of Ballet Australasia Ltd & The National Dancing Association in CLASSICAL BALLET
Nina Samberg : excellent dancer & choreographer, teaches at Sydney Dance Company, USA trained, in LYRICAL
Haylie Salmon : long time pupil of Lee Academy, training at NAISDA, in CONTEMPORARY
Erin Lamont : from THE EDGE in HOLLYWOOD, in JAZZ
ALREADY in 2007, Lee Academy pupils have attended these excellent workshops:
PASSION 4 DANCE: a full day intensive held at NSW uni in TAP, JAZZ & HIP HOP.
GLOBAL DANCE CONVENTION: a 3 day dance explosion at the State Sport Centre in JAZZ, TAP, HIP HOP, MUSICAL THEATRE, BREAK DANCE, LYRICAL, CONTEMPORARY, SALSA & PROGRESSIONS
LA WORKSHOP: a full day of dancing with EVERY Lee Academy Teacher in JAZZ, HIP HOP & PROGRESSIONS.
There is a lot more planned for the remainder of the year. We keep things under wraps until they are happening as we like to surprise our students!
