Lee Academy full time
Adding to it's list of highly organised and amazingly successful services, Lee Academy has again created a new, unique and fresh approach to the full time course. Lee Academy Director Jo Cotterill in her endeavours to provide all Lee Academy students with the highest quality and complete performing arts program has created individually catered, full time programs that go one step further by providing support for before - during - and after a performer has gained employment. Unlike many other full time courses that simply provide a certificate and cut the student loose after one year of service, Lee Academy provides the absolutely essential ongoing support that the amateur and seasoned professional performer needs. Once a full time Lee Academy student gains and completes a professional contract they are encouraged back for further training, guidance and to receive the support they need to secure their next big contract.
Jo Cotterill believes in a strong family based support system which provides all Lee Academy performers with the very best in training in an enjoyable nurturing environment allowing students to concentrate on obtaining success in a highly competitive industry, here in Lee Academy family, we simply call it, "The LA WAY". A testament to the success of Jo Cotterill's approach to managing Lee Academy is the extremely high retention rate of its students. Like so many have found, once you are exposed to the wonderful Lee Academy family it's a place you want to return to again.

Lee Academy Full time
Every performer has different dreams, abilities and responsibilities. Lee Academy believes that the "one full time course suits all" attitude is long overdue for a rehaul. Lee Academy works with the individual and creates a program that suits their particular needs based on their strengths, weaknesses and specific aim in life. Training is only completed once that goal has been reached, after which Lee Academy will reassess the individual and help the student refocus by welcoming the student back into the training and support program with outlook of further and possibly more lucrative contracts for the performer. For selected individuals that have gained experience abroad Lee Academy also offer the possibility of working with the Lee Academy family as a special guest teachers, choreographers and solo teachers, sustaining the performers lifestyle while between contracts.

Central Coast dance agency
Jo Cotterill created Lee Academy in 1993 while in year 10 at school, Jo had nothing but a dream to create one of the finest performing arts schools the world has seen, an unrealistic dream to most. Undeterred and against stiff competition from the dozens of surrounding dance and performing arts schools, Jo, with her unwaivering ambition and determination moulded Lee Academy from its humble beginnings where she taught lunch time classes with her school friends in 1993 to what we see today in 2010, Currently Lee Academy is recognised as an emerging powerhouse of talent and receives wide industry support and praise. Leading the way on the Central Coast. Jo's philosophy reflects her own journey, It does not matter where you come from or how little you have, with the right state of mind you can create or acheive anything you truly believe in
, just as Jo is currently displaying with performing arts on the Central Coast and the wider industry.
Come and join the Lee Academy family on this amazing journey, under the direction of Jo Cotterill it has been an amazing ride so far and if the start of 2010 is anything to go by then the best has yet to come!
