Congratulations to all who performed in competitions from Newcastle to Sydney in the holidays.
We recorded outstanding results across the board & our list of achievements at all eisteddfods was outstanding.
Lee Academy was awarded the Coastquest:
Most Professional Dance Studio
Most Professional Dance Troupe
Most Promising Senior Dancer – Danni Hegarty
We won the 1st, 2nd & 3rd in the Senior Contemporary group section
We also won the 1st & 2nd in the 12/u Jazz group section
these are the only 2 group sections we entered this time.
There were loads of excellent solo & duo results as well. We are still hearing from students so will post up a full list when we have collected all the results!
So far the count stands at 30 – 1st places, 15 – 2nd places and 9 – 3rd places,, Go LA!

At City of Sydney Eisteddfod: the most prestigious & largest performing arts challenge in the Southern hemisphere, we have showcased our group & solo performers with excellent results.
HC: Open age lyrical troupes - (approx. 24 troupes)
2nd: Danni Hegarty open lyrical solo – (approx. 50 in the section)
HC: Danni Hegarty contemporary solo – (approx. 48 in the section)
Finalist: Cassie Clarke contemporary solo – (approx. 50 in the section)
HC: Zac Smith lyrical solo – (approx. 39 in the section)
