Lee Academy Videos

December 20th, 2011

We have been considering the purchase of a quality video camera for some time now. Before we make a purchase we have been borrowing a cam to see if we were even capable of recording and processing half quality footage. While we are completely new to videography and have a great deal to learn we do believe that we can now start integrating video with the photography. Keep an eye out because from 2012 you will seeing a lot more video on this blog.

One of the first videos we attempted was with the amazing Danni Hegarty performing “Valentine”, at the Lee Academy Studio.

DANCING With the Stars judge Josh Horner will be one of the stars of A Chorus Line when it opens in Adelaide.

October 6th, 2011

Mr Joshua Horner, patron of Lee Academy, Miss Jo’s long-time friend & Lee Academy teacher, who has starred with Australian Ballet in shows such as The Tivoli, joined the Ch 7 hit show this year and now returns to the stage in Broadway’s ultimate dance musical.
Mr Josh will headline the cast of A Chorus Line as the show’s all-powerful choreographer Zach, who must decide who makes it past the cattle call and into the final cast.
“I am delighted that we have Josh Horner playing the role of Zach. He was my first and only wish for that role. The man has been a star for a long time and this is perfect timing for him.” Producer Tim Lawson said.

The show, which features many big established names in the theatre industry and some people from the West End, will be a production not to be missed!
Congratulations Mr Josh! We cannot wait to see you!
