Being a student of dance from the age of 4, Jo’s lifelong dream was to be the director of a successful performing arts school. Jo started Lee Academy at the age of 17 as a student teaching her high school dance group, this small group then quickly flourished to include young students who are now Lee Academy Teachers.

| Jo has been a renowned choreographer, dance instructor, and business owner for more than 15 years. Her students come from all over the East Coast of Australia to train with her. She has choreographed numerous winning numbers for regional and national competitions and has won top choreography awards all over the country. Jo has choreographed for international tours with many of her students having gone on to pursue careers as professional dancers in the industry. They have performed internationally on Princess Cruises, P&O Cruiseliners, Hong Kong Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland & Disneyland California, as well as locally with artists such as UK Dj’s Freemasons and Jimmy Somerville plus dance and cabaret shows throughout Sydney. |
